If you’re interested in joining one of our Thursday choirs, we’d love to welcome you!
Sing out Sutton runs two Thursday Wellbeing Choirs at the same venue, following the same format, learning the same songs and led in the same welcoming, inclusive way. The only difference is when we sing — so you can choose the time of day that suits you best.
We’re a relaxed, friendly group who love sharing the joy of singing and believe in the power of music to boost both mental and physical wellbeing. Our choirs are inclusive and open to all, with no barriers to entry. There are no auditions, no ‘tests’ and no pressure — just music, community and fun. If you’re over 18 and want to sing (or simply give it a go), you’re very welcome.
Both Thursday choirs follow the exact same structure, with the same songs taught at both. Members are welcome to attend either session depending on availability (though we don't recommend attending both on the same day).

We meet here up to 50 weeks a year
🕑 2pm – 3.30pm
2-2.30pm is a staggered arrival with teas and coffees and time for a natter, then we sing together from 2.30–3.30pm.
🕠 5.30pm – 7pm
5.30-6pm is a staggered arrival with teas and coffees and time for a natter, then we sing together from 6–7pm.
All our groups are completely free to join, because we believe cost shouldn’t stop anyone from singing.
As a charity, we rely on donations from our members and supporters to keep things running. If you’re able to contribute in any way, it helps us continue to grow and share the joy of singing with as many people as possible.
We welcome new members at any point during the year. Please get in touch before coming along — that way we can make sure everything you need is ready for you when you arrive.
Just drop us a message and let us know which Thursday session you’d like to attend. We can’t wait to sing with you!
For me it’s about friendship, support during difficult moments and the opportunity to be creative and make a nice noise.
The choir changed my life and gave it such a massive, exciting focus. Not just the face-to-face sessions, but for the rest of every week I would listen to the on-line recordings of our songs, learn the words, sing (and dance) to them at the top of my voice all the way through to the next choir session. The other members are always so welcoming, understanding and supportive, without need for explanations and words.
